Teach Mo Chroi' is located 1/4 mile West of N84 and 1 mile East of R330 which is a direct route into Westport Town and 15 mins by car from the house.  Castlebar & Ballinrobe towns are 10 mins by car on N84.

Teach mo Chroi' is accessed by a small road called a boreen just off the N84 main Castlebar/Ballinrobe road. 

It sits upon an acre of meadowland in the little village of Ballintubber atop a small hill with lovely views of the Partry Mountains and Croagh Patrick.  

​This tranquil peaceful area offers a genuine feel of country living while still only minutes away from three bustling towns full of shopping and entertainment.

Teach Mo Chroi' is approximately a 3-1/4 hour drive from Dublin Airport.  We can also be reached by train from Dublin's Hueston station.  Trains arrive several times a day at either Castlebar or Westport stations.  The journey is about 3-1/4 hours and both stations are 10-15 mins from our home. Shannon airport is about a 2-1/4 hour drive from our home.  ​

Buses from Dublin or Shannon airports arrive several times daily into Galway City.  The schedule is very regular out of Dublin airport almost hourly, but far less often from Shannon. The drive from Teach Mo Chroi' to Galway Bus station is approximately 1-1/4 hours depending on the time of day.  There are connecting buses out of Galway into Castlebar if you don't mind waiting a bit longer.
